This Lake Huron Mug beautifully combines the natural warmth of Oregon-made clay with the stunning glaze, “Kabluey “, a favorite inspired by the deep blue waters of Lake Huron. Developed in Michigan and shared with me here, the glaze flows gracefully across the surface in soft lake blues and subtle greens, breaking naturally to reveal the earthy clay beneath.

My signature hand-carved texture mimics the gentle ripples of water, adding depth and a tactile quality to the design. Finished with a hand-pulled handle, this mug is as comfortable to hold as it is to admire—a perfect blend of artistry, functionality, and a shared connection to nature's beauty.
