Michigan Meets Oregon Mug

$40.00

This large, hand-carved mug is a personal tribute to the two places that feel like home. Crafted from Oregon clay and finished with my favorite Michigan glaze, it brings together the best of both worlds. Holding nearly 16 ounces, it’s made for those who savor a big, satisfying cup of coffee.

The glaze captures the essence of a Michigan summer—the deep blues of Lake Huron, the golden light of long evenings, and the feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be. My love for ceramics was rekindled on those shores, especially during visits to the incredible @helenhiertaceramics, where time spent with clay became some of the most meaningful. The signature carving adds a dynamic, tactile element, making each sip an experience as rich as the memories that inspired this piece. A true celebration of home—both of them.
